THE MASSACRE by 50 CENT is "fiddys" 2nd official album folowing up from "Get Rich Or Die Trying". This album is recommended
for any hip hop fan, 50 Cents commercial beats prove to be very catchy and after a couple of listens you find yourself nodding
your head to tunes that originally didnt stand out. It includes hit singles "Candy Shop" featuring Olivia, "Disco Inferno",
"Outta Control" and a G-unit remix of "Hate It Or Love It" it also includes a tune called "Piggy Bank" which is 50 Cent taking
shots at Fat Joe, Jadakiss and Nas which is very funny to any hip hop fan who apreciates a good rap battle. The album also
includes the following artists: Eminem, Olivia, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, The Game and Jamie Foxx. The executive producers
are Dr.Dre, Eminem and 50 Cent.

INTRO, This is just a small intro to the album with one of 50Cents tunes from his first album playing low in the background and a girl who is
opening up a gift from 50 saying happy valentines day. Now as this album was brought out in March(2years ago) it was meant
to be brought in on valentines day and called "The Valentines Day Massacre" but for some reason it was pushed back, anyway
the girl opens up a gift and its a CD so she puts it on and suddenly loads of gunshots start fireing and people start scraming and it kicks into the first tune.
Track2 IN MY HOOD, To kick off the album
50 starts of spitting about life in the hood with a fine 50Cent flow a tune with a quick beat for 50 to rap to and a bass
playing with pianos, its a great way to kick off the album in my opinion, a tune you can nod your head to as 50 changes his
style throughout and makes the rap more fun and slightly funny...funny in a 50 gangster kind of way!
Track3 THIS IS
50, A great tune with 50 rapping in a tune but definatly not singing. His voice has a fine presence and keeps the gangster
feel going it really gets you pumped up and ready to...do what ever ya wanna do! it has a strange deep beat with deep chello
sounds that goes so well with 50Cent's flow as he raps about himself all the way through.

IM SUPPOSED TO DIE TONIGHT, 50 is explaining a tale in the hood to this dark tune as he talks about how he is gonna shoot
some enemys and he might not come out of it alive. with a sound like hands clicking for the beat and a chilling drown 50 still
manages to rap the chorus with some sort of tune and it comes off really well. The more i listen to this tune the more i like
it.
Track5 PIGGY BANK, This is a type of tune that all hip-hop lovers...love! a diss tune! and 50Cent has certainatly
had a lot of beefs throughout his career. This is 50 Cent slagging rappers Fat Joe, Jadakiss and Nas, these rappers had kind
of bean taking shots at 50 before this so this was 50 declairng war! and after this tune it was almost over before it had
begun he rips into these guys taunting them about things like their wieght, their families and how 50 is so much richer and
sold so much more than these other rappers. A very funny tune but with a gangster mentallity.
Track6 GATMAN AND ROBIN,
This tune features the hip-hop god Eminem and 50 and Eminem refer themselves as Gatman(Em) and Robin(50) and is basicly explaining
how these guys have each others back, after all it was Eminem who introduced 50 to the rap game and he is explaing how if
anyones got trouble with 50 then he will no doubt get involved, and that has been proven in the past with Eminem getting involved
with 50Cents beef with rapper JaRule which had ended befroe this album was released. The tune has a batman and robin theme
to it just hip-hopped up a bit.
Track7 CANDY SHOP featuring OLIVIA, This is a hit single a very good tune for in the
clubs and pubs with 50Cent driving the girls crazy as spits about sex and Olivia who was recently signed to G-Unit as the
first female G-Unit member driving the guys crazy as her sexy voice is just something else! as 50 raps
about the candy shop he explains many sex posistions and many types of girls. This is definatly a tune you could ride your
girl to!
Track8 OUTTA CONTROL produced buy Dr.Dre...possibly the best tune on the album...maybe...there is now a remix
to this with Mobb Deep(now G-unit members) which is better but this is still a quality rap tune with a fine beat and i have
heard this in a nightclub before and the place goes wild! 50 Cent is really good a rapping with a tune without actually singing
and again it comes off superbly as he raps about being in the club and woman. There now a version of this album with the remix
to this tune on it and i recommend that if you but this album get the remix, it is better.
Track9 GET IN MY CAR this
tune has a slightly slower beat to it with a high pitched guiter repeating the same 4or5 notes throughout. 50 raps more about
life in the hood and about his cars as he cruses through the streets with his hoes and again changes his style with a slight
tune to his rapping this tune is slightly repeatitve but its still ok.
Track10 SKI MASK WAY and 50Cent keeps it going
with cool flow to this one a beat with a kind of echo sound to it and the bass playing, as 50 spits about how he apprently
used to robb and thief money in the hood before he came famous. I do like this tune even though its probably not one of my
favourites but i have now heard it a lot of times and i still dont know how much i like it. But i would say 50Cent does a
good job rapping
Track11 A BALITMORE THING, 50Cent tells a story about a girl who is hooked on drugs and he is really
clever when he raps like he is talking to the girl but he is actually the drug talking saying that she wants him and cant
go without him. This is a slow tune tune with a chour type voices oohing in the backround and a nice slow beat.
Track12
RYDER MUSIC, it almost seems slightly early for the album to be chilling out but with another slow beat and
more slow chour type music 50 Cent raps about the hood and about himself. I think the purpose of this tune is for when your
driving along deep in thought as it is a crusing tune..it's ryder music lets ride!
Track13 DISCO INFERNO, another hit single from 50. This unfortunatly is poor attempt at trying to follow up
his first single release which is on his first album "IN DA CLUB" maybe im wrong but thats what it sounds like to me. It
does have a catchy beat, a party tune and i do actually like it, but 50 does drop his standards in his lyrics and becomes
very basic. I think what makes it is that again he raps with a tune and thats what makes it good and that is what 50 is good
at it does have a good flow to it and after a few drinks who is listening to the lyrics anyway?!? so i think he does get away with it but only just.
Track14 JUST
A LIL BIT, this reminds me off track7 Candy shop because its the same idea except 50 is a bit more ganster in this and produces
another hit single.(The Game has a diss song about 50Cent over this tune very funny!) This is another club banger even though
50's lyrics arnt to brilliant but he gets away with it with that distinctive flow and its actually a really good tune.
Track15
GUNZ COME OUT, a slow gangster beat with a trumpet sound to it as 50 raps about his guns. The chorus is so close to 50 singing
but it comes across as really gangster and the delivary is good. He has his usual flow but there is nothing really that special
about this tune to be honest.
Track16 MY TOY SOLDIERS, this features G-Unit member Tony Yayo who maybe is not one of
the better rappers in G-unit but does well in this tune. As 50 winds up his toy soldier he explains how he is the leader of
his gang and whatever he says goes as he has all of his crew's backs. A jumpy tune with a lot of heat. Almost a techno keyboard
sound which makes a good hip-hop flow. Tony Yayo also reveals that he is not be messed with aswell with a good verse from
him.
Track17 POSITION OF POWER, well 50 Cent makes a real classic hear in my opinon with such a moving tune, the piano is playing with a beat that is made for a
50 Cent flow. With some defineing punch lines this slow jam is from the heart of a rapper who has made it to the top. He raps
about how he made all this money from drugs before he was famous and how he is now rich from making rap tunes. Brilliant tune!
Track18
BUILD YOU UP, you get the feeling the best tunes have allready past when this one comes on not much of a tune to it as 50
raps about diamonds and more about the hood. Jamie Foxx features in it and sings in the chorus, not the best 50 track i have
heard to be honest.
Track19 GOD GAVE ME STYLE, 50Cent uses his tunefull rap skills again to produce a decent tune.
He spits about how he is what god made him and he got where hes at because of god. its a slow tune but one of the better slow
tunes.
Track20 SO AMAZING another one with Olivia as the album draws to a close 50 raps about relationships and this
is more one for the ladies but i do like it. it has a bassy beat but is quite slow. Olivia has a great voice and is surely
going to be a big star in the future, she looks good aswell!
Track21 I DONT NEED EM', 50Cent seems to be ending this
album with a slow gangster tune with a low droan to it and a good beat, 50 sprays how he doesnt need any help when he is in
trouble, he is mostly referring to situations in the hood. He rally goes for and produces a really good rap and the chrous
comes across as very arrogant and goes well.
Track22 HATE IT OR LOVE IT(G-UNIT REMIX) this tune was originally done
with 50Cent and The Game but 50 decided to add a few of his G-Unit members to it in a classic remix, unfortunatly The Game
has now left G-unit because he and 50 fell out so it takes the shine of games verse BUT Tony Yayo makes another appearance
with another really good verse, Lloyd Banks has a fantastic verse and Young Buck has an amazing verse, they all have a go
at the chorus aswell whcih makes it a reall G-Unit classic, one of my fave G-unit tunes.
To sum up 50 CENT'S second
album of his career "THE MASSACRE" I would have to say it is a good album overall and worth buying if you are a G-unit fan.
Unfortunatly it is not as good as 50Cents first album "GET RICH OR DIE TRYING"( which is amazing) and it is not as consistent
either, but having said that the best tunes are really good and it does show that no matter what you think of 50Cent he is
capable of making classic hip-hop music with his own unique style.
