50 Cent Did U Know??
~50 Cent, like EM, is left-handed.
~50
says his name is a metaphor for change and also the name of the gangsta in Fort Greene.
~50's favorite song on Get
Rich Or Die Tryin is "Many Men."
~50 says he doesn't know where he'd be today without Jay-Z. After 50 dissed Jay-Z
on "Problem Child" and Jay responded to it on "It's Hot (Some Like It Hot)," it gave him the street cred that led to his present
day fame.
~50 has never had a real blue/white collar job.
~When 50 was signed to Columbia, he appeared on J-Lo's
remix to "I'm Gonna Be Alright."
~EM 1st listened to 50 as a fan. He used to bump 50's Guess Who's Back album and the
1st G-Unit CD, so he introduced it to Dre. They arranged a meeting in Hollywood and decided to add 50 to the Shady Records
family.
~50 was offered millions more to sign to other labels, but decided on Shady because he knew he would have the
freedom to say whatever he wanted on a record.
~The most important thing to 50 is fitting in w/Dre an EM.
~Before
signing 50 to his label, EM battled him to make sure he was worthy enough. EM won, but 50 says it's only cuz he "cheated"
by making 50 go 1st.
~A video for "Places To Go," the song 50 had on the 8 Mile soundtrack, was planned before "Wanksta"'s
success on the radio.
~Ebony is the name of the model who appears in 50's "Wanksta" and "21 Questions" videos.
Marquise, his son, appears at the beginning of the "Wanksta" video.
~50 wants autobiography of himself published called
#1 With 9 Bullets, for $1,000,000.
~50 writes comedies in his spare time and already has some film opportunities in
the works. He will be making an 8 Mile type movie soon.
~The 1st album dropping off of 50's G-Unit Records is going
to be Lloyd Banks' LP coming in August

Shot 9 Times:
Despite the media frenzy that accompanied "How To Rob," 50's debut album (Power of the Dollar)
was never officially released. Things grew worse when 50 was attacked by a gunman outside his grandmother's house on May 24,
2000. He was allegedly struck 9 times. One of the bullets pierced his left cheek, clipped a chunk of gum, and left him with
a permanent slur. 50 survived the attack, but his record company, Columbia dropped him afterwards.
